Description
The project includes the design and construction of a 53 MW utility-scale solar electric power plant. The project site is located in Chester County, South Carolina. The site consists of approximately 214 acres of the 314 acres Project Study Area which consists of mainly forestland & farmland and undeveloped areas (wetland and/or water features).
Services Provided
EEDAS performed 142 geoprobe borings each 12 feet deep to find out the PWR (partially weathered rock) existence in the site and recommended the suitable foundation for the Solar post foundation including the PWR location in the desktop & geoprobe report. The number of borings was determined by assuming 200 X 200-foot grid.
