Client: Ecoplexus

Service Completion Date: 2021

Description

The project includes the design and construction of a 75 MW utility-scale solar electric power plant. The project is located east of Jamison Road and Old Highway 37 in Mulberry Polk County, Florida. The site consists of approximately 700 acres.

Services Provided

EEDAS presented a cost-saving pile design for the Jamison site, which encountered areas with significantly low soil strength. Additionally, we proposed an economical construction solution involving foam injection in cases where conventional pile designs proved ineffective. Moreover, we conducted nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate the group pile behavior and employed soil-structure interaction modeling using PLAXIS software analysis. This analysis was specifically performed for the location where a test pile had previously failed.

EEDAS also provided inverter pad skid foundation design, PV racking  FE analysis, group, L pile Analysis, CAB Design, Pile testing construction support and project management.
